[link] Cosplays in general-- Otakuthon late report
Earlier this month I went to Otakuthon, that being my favourite convention, this year was beyond brilliant. I love how every single year there are memories that I will cherish forever.
I was meant to cosplay Cardverse England on Friday and Saturday but last minute I really wanted to see the results as of what would happen if I wore Bilbo Baggins. So I did on Friday and the response was beyond brilliant. I didn't expect to be recognized so much and in the end it was all very worth it. To the point where I got overly asked on Saturday if I was going to get changed later on back to Bilbo due to others wanting to see. Sadly, Cardverse was only worn morning and afternoon, I really want to wear it to other conventions as well!
On Sunday there was the Hunger Games panel and the Ask a Nation panel. For the Hunger Games I was Finnick Odair and I had a lovely Annie Cresta. Of course with our more than organized Effie Trinket, a photoshoot happened, I can't wait for the photos! The Hunger Games panel went great, I was very glad of that. And our Peeta had made us an amazing wedding cake. Afterwards I had to quickly change to my England cosplay for I was the England for the Ask a Nation panel, and was I ever glad that I took the role. Personally I think I did an ok job, I had really missed being England and that made it beyond brilliant. The rest of the group was great and thank you to my lover for being there for me as Scotland. I got offered to be the England for the Anime North's Ask a Nation panel and that, that makes me overly flattered for I have always wanted to.

So my flat mate and I are sort of, really, extremely, in money trouble right now in helping my lover pay the flat. My flat mate makes plushies in all sorts of genre, of pretty much anything you love and need, and/or want!
